Exporting your data from Nike+ (ver. 2.0)

After a few months of experimenting with Nike's public API, I've decided that it doesn't work for my purposes.

So… I'm shutting down this version.

Long story short - the API is limited to 500 requests per hour. That's even fewer than you'd think, because each run actually requires two requests (one for basic run details, a second for GPS data.) Often, I'd notice a users would download a few hundred runs at the top of an hour, exhausting our 500 request limit, which meant that no one else could use the site for the next 59 minutes or so. (Hence the frequent 'No activities to export' error...)

I don't blame Nike - 500 requests/hour is a reasonable limit for personal use, but it's just not enough for this site, which is used by hundreds of people every day.

But don't worry - the original version of the app is still available, and I've just added the "Direct to Strava/RunKeeper/MapMyRun" feature.

In fact, since that version doesn't use Nike's public APIs - it works much better than this version ever did.

So give it a try, and let me know what you think. As always, I welcome your thoughts and feedback; I'd like to make this site as useful as possible.

Thanks for your kind words, support, patience, and encouragement, and good luck with your training!

Cheers,
